Your problem is mplayer - it doesn't like your CPU - from your sig it looks like you are not using an Intel or AMD processor ?
If the version of mplayer that came with 1.03 worked then install AlienBCC 1.03 from here http://www.x2systems.com/alienbbc/AlienBBC-v1.03_6.2.exe into a dummy directory and replace the 1.04 mplayer.exe by the mplayer.exe in the 1.03 installation. Then in future save your working copy of mplayer.exe before an upgrade.
