It is a lot easier to not run as a service, than to run the script!

But what you need to do is;
install Perl from ActiveState, free and available from here I guess
http://www.activestate.com/Products/ActivePerl/?psbx=1
When installing, if asked about associating .pl files with perl, make
sure this is selected.

Then open a "command prompt" (quick way: click start->run, type cmd &
press enter)
Then enter the following commands
cd "c:\program files\SlimServer\server\Plugins\iTunesUpdate"
iTunesUpdateWin.pl "C:\My Music\Playlists\iTunesUpdate_hist.txt"

(changing the paths if necessary)
