if you have songs already loaded, it will play those. But that only wors if the selected playlist doesn't have a valid entry or cannot be loaded. I've considered changing that to load random songs instead, as some users schedule a wipe over night and would then lose any current playlists.
I have no plans to add in and manage radio timeouts. That just gets into too many complications for my taste. I would recommend that if your boss isn't tolerant of the rare tardiness, then you might want to consider sticking with local tracks, or at least install a second copy of the plugin to play some emergency backup music if you are still asleep when the train is leaving.
