Hi, Well I'bve been working this for a few days now. First mplayer crashed because of an byte sex issue, the fix has been posted. I can dig up the link if anyone needs it. Next I had problems with /dev/fd/3 there's no sim link on the NSLU2. A link is needed to /proc/dev/fd, the pipe now tests OK when I try to write text to the console via the pipe.
But, now I'm stumped everything seesm to be OK yet I get no sound.
