You would have been requested to run the test when installing AlienBBC -
it is the one with a menu of about 5 BBC stations.
To re-run the test, open a command prompt window and go (i.e. use cd
command) to the Bin directory in the Slimserver folder. There should
be a BAT file whose name begins with "Test". Type its name but you
will have to put the name inside quotes (") because it has a space in
its name.
Select a BBC station preferably R1 R4 - and let it play for at least 20
mins. If it gets choppy then it is your network connection.
