So I commented out this section in RTSP.pm :
# Check client - only stream to known slim clients
# if (!defined($client) || !$client->isPlayer()) {
# $::d_remotestream && msg "Alien only streams to Slim players\n";
# return undef;
# }
and it now seems to work fine. No adverse side effects that I've
noticed so far
