Hmmm I'm not sure if I'd want it forcing the the zone to active. What would be ideal is if the "Squeezebox" zone is detected, it could play from that zone (and only that zone) whether it's active or not. But, whether that is do-able or not that's your department.
I've only played with .3 a few minutes but the one song transition I heard was much smoother.
