My folder art doesn't suffer from the problem reported in the thread you linked me to, it displays perfectly in the web interface.
Thanks for the tip on clearing the playlists. I can now get SlimRemote running and the Server settings show the address as 127.0.0.1 and the CLI port as 9090192. I just tried changing the Server IP address to 192.168.123.2 (the address of the server machine, even though this is the same computer on which SlimRemote is running) and now the artwork displays perfectly. I guess it didn't like that local loopback address for some reason. Thanks for the help in debugging this.
