What log file did you check? Slimserver provides a link to the file in the
web interface (where you turn on d_cli)
Also worth checking the Moose logfile - this'll show what messages
Moose is firing at the server..
To make Moose write a log file, open the library window and check the
logging option in the file menu. Once logging is turned on, check slimserver's
running and open and close Moose's preferences dialog - this will make
Moose attempt to re-connect to the server.
The logfile moose generates is called log.txt, and should be written in the
same folder as moose.exe.
