Not sure if you've seen my private message about this, but could you
contact me off-list so we can try some things to progress this?

I tried reproducing this on my 6.5 version following a database
clear-and-rescan and I saw no performance problems (I get results in
around 7s even on a 450MHz laptop). Also, I've been using --d_sql a lot
in the development of this plugin and I've never once had that cause a
crash from SlimServer.

I therefore suspect something else between OS, perl, DB layer and
MySQL, but can't think what that might be yet. It might also be
something specific to do with your database contents so I'd like to see
about getting a copy of your database to see if I can reproduce it.

Finally, I've not heard of any similar problems from anyone and I'd be
surprised by that if there was a plugin problem. However, I can't be
sure without more investigation.

Thanks, email is as follows:

I've also not picked up much information about your environment
(probably in one of the other threads I didn't read), so if you could
recap your environment in your email (OS, svn version/nightly date,
other plugins, internal-MySQL or external instance etc etc), that would
be helpful.

Sorry you're having trouble - we'll see if we can track it down.

Stuart
