Thanks for the reply. Must be something I am doing wrong :( Maybe its a combination of things. I recently changed my screen saver to the weathertime plugin so maybe its causing a conflict. Also rebooted everything and ended up with a different IP on the squeezebox.
Its a great plugin btw I have been using a bodged version for 6 months to annouce CID onto my squeezebox.
