Hello Manuel, since there is no lame within the slimserver distribution, where (what version) did you downloaded it. If you downloaded the 'stable' version from debian, it could get some problems. Look here: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=26020 http://ftp.debian-unofficial.org/debian/pool/main/l/lame/ There you will find a link to the 'experimental' lame version from debian. You could also try to execute the command from the shell. change to /volume1/SlimServer/Bin and type ./mplayer ........ | ./lame ...... /dev/stdout test.mp3 (BTW, bpa is right, when he says, we should use another name for the pipe, i have changed mine). You should see a lame process starting. You can stop the whole process with 'q'. Then you should have the test.mp3 in your Bin directory. The file size should be different from 0. Test this mp3 (if you want to hear it under windows, copy it to /volume1/public and change the owner to guest.users). By the way, i couldn't get flac/wav output to work yesterday, but the lame solution works fine for me. mr_hyde -- mr_hyde Mr_Hyde / Slimserver 6.3.1 / Synology Diskstation DS106 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mr_hyde's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=6032 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=26727 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
