AienBBC has two parts - menus and playing streams with Mplayer. Creating a M3U file just create a menu - slimserver will still use wmdec to play the stream. It is effectively the same as Radio Tune in.
I've tried the URL on my Linux systems with SoftSqueeze and it plays (alebit through Mplayer).
