gandt, it looks like you and I were posting at the same time.  Jinx! 
Anyhoo, your solution looks great, but you don't need a custom script
if you are running Windows (I'm using Windows XP, but I believe the
Task Scheduler came about in 95 so it should be in any recent
version).

I just created a series of scheduled tasks in the right order, and it
works like a charm.  I used Firefox for my browser, and it opened up
each scheduled task in a new tab.  The only problem for me is having
Firefox open when I come in to my office every morning - not a big deal
at all, but not as "clean" a solution as I would have liked.  So instead
I got on my linux box (rented from my hosting provider) and set up a
series of "wget" commands to have the same effect.

You can also install "cygwin" on Windows which provides a sub-set of
unix functionality, including the crontab which allows you to use
things like "wget" which can hit a URL without actually opening a
browser.
