Good plan.. Easy bodge.. Only include albums with more than 1 track.. ;-)
Also, as I have more than 200 covers, would it be possible for covers to fade out and different ones fade in to the chooser window? Maybe at random, but with a higher preference for covers that the mouse hasn't been close to for a while? Eg. change one cover artwork every 5 seconds?

It seems to work sometimes for me, other times not! I just assumed it was broken when it didn't work the first time.
