Well, before SuperDateTime seemed to be the culprit rather than
TrackStat or DynamicPlaylist: removing it seemed to restore normal
behaviour. I then tried the latest SuperDateTime beta to see if that
would have problems too. It did, so I removed it. Even with it removed,
I was again having problems with TrackStat. Digging into some logs, I
saw the following types of message:
>
> 2006-09-24 13:04:09.9738 ERROR: file error - cache failed to write css:
> Error in tempfile() using
> /var/cache/slimserver/templates/usr/share/slimserver/Plugins/TrackStat/HTML/Default/plugins/TrackStat/XXXXXXXXXX:
> Parent directory
> (/var/cache/slimserver/templates/usr/share/slimserver/Plugins/TrackStat/HTML/Default/plugins/TrackStat/)
> is not writable at /usr/lib/perl5/Template/Document.pm line 295
So I deleted the directory /var/cache/slimserver/templates, restarted
and now everything seems to be ok again (apart from not being able to
use SuperDateTime!).
