Can you try to look at a log with d_source and d_source_v flags set. This flag will produce a message for every block of data read and then sent to the SB - so it will produce a huge number of messages.
The point of the log will be to see if the messages stop shortly before the sound stops. Even better if there any other messages shortly before or after the last data messages.
