using mac os 10.4.8 and slimserver 6.5.0 i have downloaded and installed the alienbbc (1.06_6.5) files in the /library/slimdevices folders (.pms to plugins and mplayer.sh to bin). I also downloaded lame and confirmed files were installed in /usr/local/bin, /usr/local/lib and /usr/local/share/doc.
