Does the TV screen do anything? Sometimes casting can be finicky. Rebooting the Chromecast itself usually helps. The page that chromecast loads for Squeeze Ctrl used to be host on my Google Drive account, but Google Drive discontinued to the ability to host webpages earlier this year, so I had to switch the hosting to my own website. This makes me wonder if you're encountering a regional problem.
