characters, in my setup all files which contains non ascii characters
are ignored by MusicIP.

The installation was quite simple:
1. Untar the Music IP *.tar.gz file
2. Run MusicMagicMixer
3. Turn on the API in the preferences dialog

MusicIP must be started before slimserver, you will need to enable the
MusicMagic integration in the server settings dialog in slimserver and
perform a rescan. There is also a MusicMagicService executable if you
like to run it as a daemon/service but I think this require some more
configuration.

You don't need a license key anymore, the free version of MusicIP
supports the slimserver API.
