Thanks Ronnie, I'll take a look at the blog you linked to. Although I think I've finally managed to narrow down the pops that i'm getting with when using the iqaudio digi+ setup. I noticed this evening that there were no pops and I realised that they only seem to be there when I sync the audio between more than no player. so I assume this is not a problem with the digi+ but a problem somewhere else in software and network maybe??
The second pi that I am syncing to is a rpi2 with a USB DAC and a USB wifi dongle attached. Could these be causing some problems?
