I recently had to reinstall my Media Server, when I put the plug ins back in I realized that my favorite feature, Dynamic playlist of top rated songs, no longer selected randomly from the whole list. I played around with as many settings as I could. Installed Custom scan and SQL playlist (not that I understand what they do really).. and just about everything Erland offers. It seems to add songs in order from a static list of top rated songs. I know this used to work. I must not be doing something right. If anyone knows please help. This is in my opinion the best feature by far that my squeezebox has. being able to hear a song I like.. rate it high and know it will be added to a dynamic random list is perfect. I hope there is a solution I am just missing. Also I do have a few other questions that really only are relevant if this issue can be resolved. 1. How high a pool of songs does it choose from? I notice there are settings for how many songs to use in interface. 999 seems to be the highest it can go , any higher and there are no search results.. I would like to set it to as high as possible or maybe just songs that have ratings. 2 is there a way to tally how many songs of a specific rating there are. When I try for songs rated 4 I get 0 results. maybe becasue it is above the 999 number not sure. 3. I know I can pull a song out of the dynamic list as it is playing from my Ipad app or phone apps, but I don;'t seem to be able to do it from the main remote on the Squeezebox Classic interface Thanks, Bill
