Sounds like either there's an error being sent by the menu (TIDAL and Pandora are both menus provided by MySqueezebox.com or ickStream, in TIDAL's case) or the server for some reason disconnects. The latter could happen if e.g. the command you send somehow locks up the server. What are you running your server on again?
