I found something strange and force a paramater value, please try the version in the *dev* repository. The long explanation is that LMS can instruct a player to take the stream directly from the source instead acting as a proxy if the player accepts the audio format. LMS will proxy data either because the audio is encoded into a format that is unknown by the player or if the audio is streamed using a protocol that players do not understand. In the latter case a "protocol handler" is used to transform a source stream into something that LMS will understand and that what's the YT plugin does. In some cases, a "protocol handler" can do simple things like redirecting to another link, in which case it can still tell LMS that this new link can be streamed directly by the player (pending LMS's decision on audio codec) Well, YT files are in ogg format which is NOT accepted by AirPlay bridge *and* I thought that by default anyway, a protocol handler does not allow direct streaming so, diect streaming shoumd never have been requested by LMS to the player. But is seems that it is. I don't have all the logs, especially I'm missimg the "simproto loglevel", but I suspect this is the issue. The change I'm made explicitely disable direct streaming in the plugin - let's see. LMS 7.7.5 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2. Sonos 2xPLAY:1, PLAY:3, PLAY:5, Marantz NR1603, JBL OnBeat, XBMC, Foobar2000, XBoxOne, JRiver 21, Chromecast Audio, Chromecast v1, Pi B2, Pi B+, 2xPi A+, Odroid-C1, Cubie2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ philippe_44's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17261 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105840 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
