I know the issue. It is specific to the Squeezplay class of user interface (i.e. not WebUI and not old IP3K SB players). It is on the todo list (near the bottom as it wasn't requested for many years) and had thought about it when doing 1.09 but it looked like there was no quick fix so fix didn't make it to 1.09. It is an area of LMS that I don't know well and IIRC the plugin was written before some parts of LMS API were improved - so there is a question of rewriting a lot of code to fix this one point.
