I just started noticing this problem within the past 1-2 weeks or so. I'm pretty sure the plug-in has been at the same version for a while, but LMS gets updated weekly. I'm using the latest build of 7.9.0 on Ubuntu, and the Spotify plugin (with the Spotify Protocol Handler disabled, of course), and about after 30 seconds or longer, the playlists will display. I noticed these messages in the log file:
