Bonjour! I run a network of 4 rpis with shairtunes-sync, a couple of airport-express and even an old iPad1 jailbroken and with AirPlayServer on my Homeutomation (FHEM) system. Playing wonderfully with Phillipe44s AirPlay-Bridge via LMS. Brilliant, Chapeau!
Now, i would like to use this setup to announe some TTS via the Homeautomation. seems there is a bug in Slimproto from V1.5 on that it does not play very short clips. as explained and already patched here by mhilbush post #3195 http: //forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?97046-Announce-Squeezelite-a-small-headless-squeezeplay-emulator-for-linux-(alsa-only)&p=872552#post872552 so i would very much like to implement that in my setting.
