Here's a bit more info: If I press "Pause" I can resume playback again by pressing "Play" as long as that's the only thing I do. This can be repeated. If I press "Pause" and the Skip to next Track, it is mute. The progress bar indicates playing, but it isn't. If I check the Google Home devices App, it says the CC is connected (casting) but paused. If I press Skip to Next Track while it is playing correctly, it also fails. Exactly the same symptom. If I click Play on a new album while one is playing, it also fails.
But when playing songs from a playlist, It manages to go from one song to the next, even though they are on different albums. When the playlist exhausts and playback stops as it should. Then I can add new songs/albums and it will begin to play again. Radio stream plays forever without any problems. Synchronisation with any one of my other devices (Slimdevices) fails. The Slimdevice plays but the CC mutes after the initial attempt to sync.
