Hi bpa, and many thanks for getting back to me on this. It's much appreciated... not just for this, but what you're doing to help us out with keeping this stuff working successfully.
I did discover the 1.5.3 test release repo a couple of days ago, and I've been testing it. So far this does appear to have resolved (or at least reduced) the problem - I'll get the 1.5.4 version installed as well, and let you know if I find any more issues.
