50x errors come from the BBC. Programa are streamed from servers which are regionally located so it may be a regional error or a program specific error. More data such as the Programs which you have tried to play , how you are trying to access it (e.g. Extra or BBCiPlayer) and whether you are in UK or not would help others to reproduce the issue. LMS caches response including errors - so if there is a failure and you repeat trying within a short period - the error may be refreshed.
