It's just possible that when you say you see LMS from your NP30 you are seeing LMS as a media server via that plugin, not the "UPnnP/DLNA Bridge". With the latter you should, as far as I know, see the NP30 as a player in LMS. I've never seen the bridge from a player.

LMS plugin UPnP/DLNA Bridge to MF M1 CLiC (to A308CR amp & ESLs) & Marantz CR603 UPnP renderers. Alternatively Minimserver & Upplay to same & to upmpdcli/mpd PC renderers. Squeezelite to Meridian USB Explorer DAC to PC speakers/headphones.
