Since you did so well with trace and tweaking the TCP parameters, I assumed you didn't need details. Assuming slimserver is installed in thge standard locations.
1. Click "Start" button and then "run" menu. 2. Enter "cmd" in the dialogue field and press return; a command prompt window (i.e. c:/> ) should open 3. Enter the command at the prompt cd C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server\Bin\MSWin32-x86-multi-thread 4. The file mplayer.exe should be in this directory. Type in "mplayer" and a multi-line banner with info about CPU etc. will appear.
