AppleTV2: v6.2.1.: that is likely the difference we are looking for.
So, I've uploaded a 0.3.0.5 that might fix the problem.

Initially, I saw LMS was sendign me a coverart with file extension
".png" but the content-type was set to jpeg. My AppleTV was still able
to display the artwork, but not yours so I assumed that the file was a
really a PNG and the content-type was wrong, and I forced content-tyep
to be PNG. My AppleTV was still working, so I thought it was the right
fix: the extension was correct, the content-type was wrong, done.

But it still did not work for you. Then we discovered with Michael is
that when no file extension for the artwork is provided by streaming
service (eg spotify, deezer), LMS add a ".png" file extension by
default, regardless. Well, in fact, the Spotify/Deezer artworks are
JPEG, but LMS sends them to me with a file extension .png for the
reasons above. My ATV4 was still working because it probably does not
care about file extension and content type, but it's smart enough to
look at the content of the actual file.

But an old OS might not do that and rely on file extension. So I've now
set the file extension to match the content-type, which contains the
correct information

Hope this works for you
