Yes, that's much strange.
I tried again and it takes max 20 sec
The last command you used is not ok I think, because qemu is used
automatically. It it was not, MusicIp would not start.
I use only :
$ /home/user/MusicIP/mmserver start/stop
(MusicIp is in a user home subdir)
or
$ sudo service mmserver start/stop
Honestly, I don't know what's going on, but maybe I can give you some
ideas.
- you can check the LMS parameters for MusicIp in "Advanced" tab.
I choose import option "read only MusicIp status (faster)" and not
"import all the data".
It's much faster
- check the free memory on your RPI.
I've got :
Code:
--------------------
$ free -m
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 923 595 327 12 19 302
-/+ buffers/cache: 273 649
Swap: 99 81 18
--------------------
Means only 273 Mb are really used, less than I thought.
- what your saying about scan is strange, because the scan is performed
by LMS, not MusicIp, it does only an import from MusicIp, but it's quite
fast, and I see no difference in memory usage. I previously had problems
with the scan, that used to crash before the end, but it was due to
MusicIp "memory leak" and it doesn't happen now, thanks to the daily
restart of MusicIp.
- Try to update your raspbian with the commands I gave you
- If nothing works, download again MusicIp, remove or rename your old
directory and also .MusicMagic dir which is in the home of the user
running MusicIp.reimport tracks and refresh tracks
I tried analysing tracks with the RPI, it works but is very very slow, I
had to stop it before the end, I don't recommend.
LMS 7.9.0
on Linux Mageia 5 and RPI 3
1 SB3, 2 radio, 1 touch
Plugins : Trackstat, Smartmix, MusicIP, ...
