But when you use iTunes, what is the source of the audio? Local files? The way AirPlay protocol works is that you can send a coverart at anytime, it does not have to be before or after you start a song. You just send the coverart and you indicate a packet number after what it's authorized to display that coverart (there is a 16 bits sequence number associated with every audio packet sent - one packet = 8ms of audio). The number I'm setting is the current packet number, so basically it means it should be displayed any time. I will create a version where that sets value in the future, but I'm not sure it will help - let's try LMS 7.7, 7.8 and 7.9 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2.
