I know, i understood that. As I said: that’s because I don’t want to
unnecessarily change the volume if you remotely control a player. All
volume changes will only be relative ones anyway.
Let’s not forget that on the iPhone other Apps can change the system
volume, too, you don’t want your remotely controlled device to always
react to that, too, and people don’t want to be forced to set their
iPhone volume to the same level as their Squeezebox.
Using the buttons in iPeng is a bit of a hack in this case.
If you use iPeng playback on the iPhone itself the levels will of course
be the same.
