Hi Berns, I created this plug in a good few years ago as more of a proof of concept and to see if it could be done - it hasn't been touched in a long time and I'm not sure if it still works TBH.
If VLC can play the stream on your system then it should be possible to update the plugin to work for you, but I'm somewhat time limited at the moment so not sure if or when I'd be able to update it.
