One more comment about this installation problem.  When installing
Slimserver, at the end of the install, I got the message "file
perl58.exe not found".  This may explain why the .pm files in my
Slimserver/server/plugins/xm subdirectory are not being loaded.  But I
thought that the perl interpreter was built into Slimserver and I
didn't need to install it separately.

Argh... I've been struggling with this for hours.  Help!
