Yes I can verify it. I hadn't noticed it myself as I find the "secure" option in SlimServer totally pointless, so I don't use it. However the actualy problem was caused by an XOR operation, trying to mask the password in the INI file.
I have now changed to a new encryption method, and I've also changed the TEST button so that it shows if it cold connect but not login. New version on the website.
