If you want an app to be able to choose output destinations, you are
going to have to invest a few euros. On android, Orange Squeeze together
with Squeezeplayer work extremely well using LMS as server.

I don't use playlists other than to play them - e.g. the numerous
playlists offered on Qobuz. The fact that a multitude of User playlists
are available to see and use to subscribers on Qobuz shows that an
individual user can create their own personal playlists. I would expect
this facility to be limited to subscribers: otherwise the Qobuz servers
would get overloaded with a plethora of playlists generated by
one-time/trial visitors to the site who will probably leave after their
trial period leaving their files behind them.

I find their scope and depth of music available (e.g. ECM) and the
resolution (flac etc) on offer to stream is excellent and well worth the
subscription cost.

I use LMS as my music server and have been happily doing so for over 10
years now and haven't found anything better, despite keeping a good eye
out. Having a forum like this to get information is invaluable and I
have not seen other platforms to have anything comparable.

Squeezebox Classic:2; Duet: 1; Boom:1; Touch:1.
Server: LMS 7.9.1 latest nightly on Linux Mint; (backup:Win 10 Pro 64
bit) iPeng, iPeng for Ipad, Orange Squeeze, Squeezepad.
