More detailed info please - "long distance" doesn't cut it !
What is a long distance colleague ? Do they use a satellite link ? Are
they non UK but using a VPN to become UK ?
The error below means that BBC replied with a requested chunk after 2292
seconds - 38 minutes !! what is going on

With a valid chunk being returned after 38 minutes - I think the plugin
gets confused - it looks like user has paused so chunks being played
are 38 minutes old but none of the other plugin variables match the
expected delay.

The delay may be partially due to the system (e.g. XP system with slow
single core processor, small memeory with a lot of system swapping)
Quick test would be to set "delay to start live stream" to 5 min.
What version of a plugin
What type of system - OS, processor , memory etc
Is the user in the UK (or appears to be in UK - faster UK streams can
cause problem if not in UK)
What are the BBCiPlayer settings ?
What type of player ?
