My LMS is 7.8.1 on OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8 on Mac Pro 2006 Mac Dual-Core Intel Xeon 2.66GHz
According to this https://forge.rust-lang.org/platform-support.html only 10.7+ is supported by the Rust compiler used for the helper application.
