Then I tried again and after the last track playback continued with the first track as before.
This, unfortunately, is to be expected: as I mentioned we don't have any information about the context in which a track is being played. Therefore the current approach is to stop playback whenever a track which had been played before would be played again. This has a few flaws by design:
- a playlist with the same track more than once in it would stop as soon as one of those tracks would show up for the second time.
- if you start playback at track x > 0, the playback would wrap back to the top and only end when it's at position x again.
That said they did add more contextual information recently. And I therefore hope to be able to implement a better solution soon.
