I noticed that when I tried to listen to some internet-streams from work through an ssh-tunnel to my home server, that it did not work in some cases. Enabling logging indicated that softsqueeze had support for the stream and that direct connection would be used. Since the corporate FW blocks pretty much every stream except the big national (Sweden Radio) streams I could not listen to what I wanted. Is there a way to get SS to use my SSH-tunnel to not only connect to my Slimserver but also to use it to stream through as well instead of using the corporate GW/FW? (And yes - the ethical/moral/etc issues of tunneling through the companys HTTP-proxy&FW is fully known and understod by me).
