Hi all Thanks for the replies. It was set to 'Repeat Track'. I have never (or very rarely) drilled down to the now playing screen as i normally play whole albums so i doubt i would have found that setting. i can see the benefit of having that functionality there but i cant understand why this play preference is not somewhere in the preferences section.
