Simon, The Slim Picks URL for BBC R2 on Squeezenetwork is a WMA one. I think these are trial URLs for WMA service and as such should only be available within the UK. That said, a number of UK users have had problems using these URLs - these problems seems to be region based.
The RealAudio URLs work well for most people both in UK and worldwide.
