hello from an old SBox user now on RPi running max2play with LMS/Spotty... i have a bit more info for you to chew on: 1) i tried to un-check the option "Don't announce Squeezebox players" but it will not stick. why wouldn't i want to announce all connect players? once when it seemed to stick, the device showed up. 2) "max2play" device is fleeting in appearance. my own android and windows apps (which uses spotify web api) see it the most.
