The first log file shows the log entries up to the "hang". The second log file shows the entries up to and after the hang, when I work around the "hang" by turning the power to the squeezebox classic off and on again using the web control page and then access a playlist and play a song.
Unfortunately I don't see anything particular in there. Not even based on the timestamps I can figure out where there would have been a big gap.
Just in case: are you using any other 3rd party plugins? Not that I'm aware of known incompatibilities. But just in case: disable them all.
And then I still believe there's something wrong with your system overall. I'm not sure whether it's network related or what else. But that warning/error you get logged every few seconds certainly is a sign of something not working as expected. Unfortunately it's a rather generic message. Don't know where it's coming from.
