I had a similar experience, my Weather data was not updating and was very different from the actual weather.
In my investigation I went to wunderground.com and found that many of the stations in my area were no longer available (including the one I was pulling data from). I assume there was some sort of cleaning or policies change for which weather stations to publish. So I would check that the weather station you are pulling data from is actually live.
