The "10054" error message usually indicates a problem with security s/w. What version of Norton ? In many cases disabling the s/w/ is not enough - it has to be uninstalled as the s/w interferes with networking.
Have you told Norton that slimserver, mplayer and socketwrapper are all "trusted" apps ? Have you tried the alternative socketwrapper as per AlienBBC FAQ ? http://homepage.eircom.net/~altondsl/slim/socketwrapper_0.12_20060220.zip Stop Slimserver. Save the original socketwrapper and then unzip and replace socketwrapper.exe. Restart slimserver. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=31375 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
